Everyone on team Jetta would like to thank each and every reader of Jetta: Tales of the Toshigawa for a successful 2010 and a very promising 2011. In reflection, I remember the days when only Kevin and I were reading our stories. The road was harder then and the doors kept slamming in our face. Just when it seemed I was fed up with the rigors of self publishing, a door or two would open and eventually lead me back to Jetta and the Toshigawa world. I’m really happy to be able to share this character and story that I love with you. I hope you continue to join us on this adventure and help to make Jetta a bright example of the great artistic endeavors found in independent comic books.

DEFIANCE
Michelle Laurent portrays Jetta in Defiance by Lizardbrain Productions.
Lizard Brain Productions is developing a live-action adaptation of Martheus Wade’s Jetta, a multi-genre action series. Lizard Brain filmmaker Bruce Williams said, “We are in production, shooting this month and August. We’re aiming for product for the 2011 Festival Season.”
I‘m looking forward to seeing what could come of this just like every reader out there! Once it’s finished, I hope to enjoy this adaptation as I’m sure you will as well!

Muley’s 2009 Christmas Whine
Well, hello from your favorite MAW Productions Editor (the only one, in fact). By now, you’re aware that I had an ugly spill whie performing a mascot for a local team and broke my arts arm. The plan was to forego any Chritmas video this year, but due to the inspiration of all my friends, Muley did a quick little video for 2009 (with the help of Martheus Wade who had a ‘helping hand’ in the making of this video).
